Granite Edges

When we were building Judy's house, the fellow running the flooring and countertop section of Sutherlands Hardware in Benton (Arkansas) told us that it was "standard" to put wood trim around the edge of granite countertops.

When I said that Judy wanted something like bullnose, he flatly stated that you can't get granite with a bullnose finish, just ogee or wood.

When we got home, I Googled for "granite countertop edges" and found the following chart on www.fixturesetc.com:

The last style, above-left, is with the beveled top edge is what Buss gave Judy. It looks good. No wood trim.
