Mimosa

Mimosa trees grow wild in Arkansas and can be seen filled with beautiful flowers.
We have several growing in our yard but none of them has ever flowered, possibly because of too much shade.
The leaves look like ferns and in fact, I once got an email from an Easterner asking for the name of this "fern tree".
