Mediterranean Pinks

Six Mediterranean Pinks planted in front of pink Coneflowers. Unfortunately, we saw deer in this area several times during the winter (2009-10). They were not eating these plants, but they must have trampled on some of them as only two survived and only one had flowers, and it was sparsely flowered.

Six more Mediterranean Pinks were ordered from Springhill. Even though 5 of the last 6 were trampled by deer and appear dead, they were left in place and the new ones planted around them in case the old ones manage to make it back to the land of the living.
